Lift Notes is operated by Joy Sent Advents. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Lift Notes exists to deliver personal notes from a group of people to one loved one. We collect only what is needed to make that happen: a few names, one phone number, and the notes and photos people choose to write. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to show you advertising.

When you create a gift: your sign-in email, the recipient's first name and mobile number, the occasion and card theme you choose, how many days you want, your optional opening message, any notes you write yourself, your optional Day 1 video, and your closing message. For printed gifts, the mailing address you enter.

When someone adds a note: their name, the text of their note, and a photo only if they choose to attach one. Contributors do not need an account, so we do not collect their email or anything else about them.

When a payment is made: our payment provider, Stripe, handles the card itself. Card numbers and bank details go straight to Stripe; we only keep a record that your gift was paid for and the email address tied to the order.

A contributor's photo is optional. It is shrunk down in their own browser before it is sent, then stored privately rather than in a public folder. The recipient's daily card opens the photo through a temporary link that expires, so the photo is not reachable by just anyone who happens to have the web address.

To build your gift, send the daily notes and photos to the recipient, let you preview and edit the gift, email you receipts and delivery updates, and answer support requests. Nothing here is used to build advertising profiles.

If you turn on the optional extras — a joke, a Bible scripture, a motivational quote, a short uplifting true story, or a kindness idea — we ask an AI writing service to prepare them. It receives only the occasion, the number of days, and the categories you picked. It does not receive anyone's phone number, personal notes, or photos.

Daily notes are delivered by text message to the mobile number the gift giver supplies. Before texts begin, the recipient opens a separate approval link and chooses whether to receive automated daily card links and a closing text. Approval is optional and recorded with its date, the mobile number, and the version of the consent wording. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The recipient can withdraw approval on that page or reply STOP to stop messages or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply, and carriers are not responsible for delays or undelivered messages.

Contributors may buy an e-gift card themselves from a store such as Amazon, Target, Starbucks, or Walmart and attach the link to their note. That purchase happens on the store's own website. Lift Notes does not sell gift cards, does not take payment for them, and does not see or store the card number or code beyond whatever the contributor types into their note.

Only the companies that help us run the service: our hosting and database provider, our text-messaging provider, our payment provider, and the postal delivery used for printed gifts. Staff members who are allowed to prepare printed gifts can see the notes, photos, and addresses for those orders. We do not sell your information.

We keep a gift and its notes while your account is open so you can look back on it. When you want something removed, email us and we will delete the gift, its notes, and its photos. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

The recipient can reply STOP to end texts at any time. Anyone who added a note can email us to have their note or photo removed. Gift givers can delete a gift or ask us to delete their account. Email Liftnotescustomercare@gmail.com and we will take care of it.

Families often include children's notes and drawings. Please only send photos of a child with that child's parent or guardian's permission. If you are a parent and want your child's photo or note removed, email us and we will remove it.

The site is served over an encrypted connection, photos and videos are stored in private storage rather than public folders, and card links are unguessable and expire. No method of storing information online is perfectly safe, so we cannot promise absolute security — but we keep access narrow and only give it to people who need it to do their job.

If we change this policy in a way that matters to you, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for big changes, email gift givers who have an active gift in progress.
